The effectiveness of Dog Guard's "Out Of Sight" pet containment is derived from 4 essential elements:
1. Transmitter
- A small box that is typically installed in the garage. The transmitter emits an electronic digital signal that travels through
the signal wire. This digital signal creates a pet containment field
with “Dual Zones”. Learn more about Dog Guard's "Out of Sight" pet containment T-4 Transmitter or

*A digital signal prevents interference from other electronics and radio digital signals.
2.
Signal Wire
- The digital signal radiates from the digital signal wire. The distance
that the digital signal travels is controlled by the
transmitter. Deep South Dog Guard "Out of Sight" pet containment uses only
professional grade 14 gauge digital signal wire which is buried
"Out of Sight" along the parameter of the property.
3. Receiver
- A small, lightweight receiver is worn on the
dog’s collar. When the dog attempts to leave his
predetermined boundary, the receiver picks up the digital signal
and activates Zone One. Zone one activates a warning tone or mild
stimulation. Should the dog continue into
Zone Two, the digital signal activates a stronger stimulus. Learn more about Dog Guard's

4. Training
- The training process is simple, but of utmost
importance! Upon installation, the Dog Guard "Out of Sight" pet containment installer will walk the dog owner’s through the training process and will be readily available to help during the training period.
